Over the years, Lee’s has maintained the philosophy of keeping prices low to benefit our customers. In so doing, we have absorbed and paid all sales tax owing to the State of California. However, after numerous disputes with the California State Board of Equalization, we must now itemize, track and collect sales tax for all qualified sales under Article 8 of the Sales and Use Tax Regulations. We continue our effort to keep prices affordable; but unfortunately, we must now itemize and pass on the sales tax to our customers to prevent future disputes with the California State Board of Equalization.
Effective Tuesday September 4, 2012, we will be adding San Francisco’s 8.5% tax to any taxable items. Such items include any food items warmed or served hot, mixed hot food & salad bar in the same container, and any carbonated beverages.

Lee's @ 95 Fremont Street in SF will be closing on Friday July 27th. The building will undergo major construction requiring all tenants vacate. We have enjoyed our 12 years at this location and are grateful for the opportunity to serve this area. After a quick store remodel over the holidays, we have added frozen yogurt to our 303 Second St. Lee's. We currently have 4 flavors/day but will soon offer 6/day. Flavors will rotate occasionally and include lowfat, nonfat & tart flavors. Self-serve and pay-by-weight - it's the perfect lowfat dessert or afternoon snack! 3 grams of fat or less per serving.
